Current Miss England Katrina Hodge is to compete in this years Karting for Heroes. Katrina will be racing in a team of the London heat finalists for this years Miss England competition and following a short breather after the race she will present the winners prizes.

BRING YOUR OWN ARMY
Okay so you've got a team in the race, you raised a lump of money in your bid for pole and your ready to go. Well almost. You need an army of fans to cheer you on … Or possibly mock you should your first driver lose it at the start on the hairpins (and yes I can claim that one myself, but it was wet!). Spectators of all ages are more than welcome on the day and the louder and brighter they are the better.

"We are fortunate and honoured that Matt Croucher GC will be at the inaugural running of Karting for Heroes.
LCpl Croucher was part of the Commando Reconnaissance Force tasked on 9 February 2008 to conduct reconnaissance of a compound in which it was suspected that Taliban fighters manufactured Improvised Explosive Devices.
The Royal Marine reservist was awarded the nation's highest honour after he dived on a live grenade to save his comrades in Afghanistan.
Matt is an enthusiastic and regular supporter of H4H and has decided to take this his latest challenge alongside 34 other drivers aiming to be first across the line after enduring 3 hours of racing. In addition to driving in the event he has also pledged his support to help make the event a success and raise awareness of Karting for Heroes and it's support of Help for Heroes."
